WOD Guidance
Many of us haven’t done muscle snatches before with a barbell, but we can think of them as the “push press” of snatching. That is to say, we use our legs to drive the weight up, but we don’t rebend our knees or move our feet to receive the weight overhead. While this may be a new one for us with a barbell, we’re used to doing kettlebell swings, dumbbell snatches and plate ground to overhead this exact same way. Today our goal is to do our bent-over barbell rows completely strict. Your head and shoulders should not change level at any point during the set.
