Weightlifting Wednesday
Pausing Back Squat (1 second pause)
3 sets of 5
3 sets of 3
3 sets of 1
After each set of squats:
10 Double DB Floor Presses (50s/35s)

WOD Guidance
Pausing back squat allow us to focus on a couple of things that regular back squats make more difficult. Specifically, they’ll help us to achieve better squat depth by pausing in the bottom, and better core control by forcing us to spend more time with the bar on our backs. If you’re used to doing your back squats without a pause, don’t be surprised if you’re not lifting nearly as much weight. On the dumbbell floor presses, we should be able to maintain challenging but unbroken sets of 10 reps.

Question of the Day
If you could only eat food from one restaurant for the rest of your life, which one would you choose?
