U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Edwardo Loredo, 34, of Houston, Texas, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, was killed on June 24, 2010 in Jelewar, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his wife, First Sergeant Jennifer Loredo; his daughter, Laura Isabelle; his stepdaughter, Alexis; and his son, Eduardo Enrique.

Emptied the tank in honor of a fallen vet, honored to have the opportunity.
Maintained a 2:15 for first five rounds of rowing. Final round took the row pace to 2:10 for first 300 and 2:03 for final 200 — Oof that was a mental game, counting pulls to muster through. 18’s seemed a good sub here, got a good stimulus and finished in the pack.

Felt like a PR—for the first time in seven years of doing CrossFit, push-ups felt good—and the only difference is that I’ve been doing 5-10 negative push-ups every day for the last month. Mechanics, consistency, intensity really works.
