Our adventure today is super simple, but simple doesn’t always mean easy. As our push up reps descend, our erg distance climbs. We’re looking for a cardio feel to this workout and hopefully continuous movement on both pieces today. Erg pace should be consistent across the board and slow just slightly as distances increase. For the ring push ups, we’re looking to be able to repeat sets of 7-10 throughout all sets. The challenge today comes from the instability of the rings as well as an extra deficit – so when choosing push up options for today, we should choose one that’s just outside of our comfort zone if not on the rings today.
