17.4: 167 rx at Crossfit Waterbury (On a ski trip in Vermont, I really wanted to go to Champlain Valley but they only do judging from 4pm-7pm and I thought doing this WOD after a day of skiing would be a terrible idea)
Last year I did this workout scaled and had 165 reps. My goal was to get to HSPU this year, and I got there with almost 2 minutes left! My arms were dead and I was only able to get 2 but I’m still super excited about this score!
Also, Max, the 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 tip on the deadlifts was👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

16.4 was my first open workout. I didn’t record it but remember something like 135 dead lifts a blur of wall balls and possibly some rowing. What a difference a year of hard work makes. Thanks everyone for pushing me to work harder everyday.

Not exactly the same movements, but I think I did better this year. 16.4 was one of the first times I had ever done deadlifts. Happy to be able to move a wall ball overhead and do push-ups! Slowly but surely, my shoulder will get better!
